M’kor Or “Source of Light” Celebration: This Is Us

 
M'kor Or honors those special leaders that lend their unique light to our congregational community. The recipient of the 2022 Marylee and Stuart Alperin Leadership Award is Bruce Matez. Bruce is a real gem who has given tirelessly to the M’kor Shalom community.

Bruce is a Past President, a former Confirmation and Hebrew High School teacher, a talented Purim Shpiel director and Choir participant. Bruce’s role in leadership has been extensive, continuing to serve on the Board of Trustees after his Presidency as well as on the Executive Committee for many years prior. It is safe to say that our synagogue has been greatly enhanced by the efforts of Bruce Matez.

Please join us for this exciting celebration of M’kor Shalom, our history, our members, our community, and of course thank Bruce for his countless contributions to our synagogue.
